Contract Costing €6.4m Signed

Kabul (BNA) In order to supply electricity to the center of Tagab of Kapisa province a contract for transmission of power line and building of a 400 volt network was signed by the Ministry of Power and Water and the Sayeqa Noor Company. 
BNA reported, Mohammad Aref Nourzai Minister of Water and Energy prior to signing of the contract said that this contract covers extension of power line of 20 KW and installation of 20 transformers and building of the 400 W power network at the cost of Euro 4.6 million from gratis-aid of France and will be completed in one year period of which over two thousand families will benefit.
According to Nourzai the consultative and supervision of the project will be carried by the specialists of Antigression Company of Germany.
He also expressed gratitude over the French government assistance in reconstruction of Kabul city and especially services rendered for electricity supply.
He added that the second phase of this project the contract for which will be signed soon will cover extension of power supply line of 110KW electricity and establishment of the sub-station of 110/120 KW of Gulbahar of which the textile mill of Jabul Seraj that is an important plant of the country, will utilize.
Two people’s deputies at the parliament of Kapisa also spoke at the ceremony and thanked French government for the assistance.
