Six Hundreds Gardens To Be Establish In Helmand

Lashkargah (BNA) Six hundreds new gardens to be establish in the coming new facial year in Helmand, Officials of Agriculture Department of that province said.
Eng. Abdullah Ahmadzai Head of Agriculture Department of Helmand province told this news agency, with the cooperation of American forces stationed in that province, their department planed to create six hundreds new gardens in the ten districts of that province.
According to him, American forces will allocate two million US dollars for establishment of these gardens.
He added, for implementation of this program, the agriculture department of that province has complete readiness and thirteen farms have been selected in different parts of that province for planting of useful and non-useful saplings.
For six hundred gardens, eight hundreds saplings are in the plan and these seeds will be distributed to those gardeners who have not plant poppy in their farms this year, Ahmadzai said.
