First Consignment of 2000 Tons of Wheat Arrive To Ghazni From India

Kabul (BNA) The first consignment of wheat as part of Indian government’s assistance to Afghanistan arrived to Ghazni province yesterday.
Engineer Abdul Karim Mateen governor of Ghazni said the consignment was received during a ceremony attended by senior Afghan officials in that province.
“This comes as the first shipment of Indian wheat comprising of 1.5 tons of wheat arrived to Herat province nearly a month ago.
