Japan Cooperates With Afghanistan In Transportation Sector

Kabul (BNA) Minister of Transpiration, Mohammad Hamid Tahmasi met with ambassador of Japan to Kabul and deputy of JICA agency.
According to BNA report, during the meeting Mohammad Hamid Tahmasi pointed on old historical and friendship relations of Afghanistan and Japan and appreciated from honestly cooperation of Japan with people and government of Afghanistan since 15 years in various sectors, particularly in transportation field and also thanked from Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) regarding enhancing capacity building of Transportations Ministry’s staffs.
During the meeting, Japan ambassador assured that his country would be continued cooperation with Afghanistan in various fields, especially, in investment, transportation infrastructure development, terminals and public city transportation. 
Meanwhile, deputy of JICA pledged that the agency would be continued cooperation in providing educational scholarships for staffs of ministry of transportations.
