NPC Approves 14 Contracts worth Over 2.8 Billion Afghani

Kabul (BNA) The National Procurements Commission (NPC) meeting has approved up to 14 contracts at the cost of more than 2.8 billion Afghani, with President Mohammad Ashraf Ghani on the chair at the Presidential Palace.
According to BNA report, construction of roads in Kandahar province, publishing of the books in Pashto and Dari languages belonging to the ministry of education, ICU project related to the ministry of public health and some other projects among the contracts signed in the meeting. The meeting also approved contract on stationary supply and medical needs for the ministry of defense. The captivity project of 120 sites of Salam communication network through ABS7 with the capacity of 40 megahertz related to the ministry of telecommunication and information technology has also been approved in the meeting. The meeting discussed issue presented by the ministry of agriculture, irrigation and livestock on the provision of subsidy for the plantation of wheat, but returned the offer. The NPC meeting also spoke about some projects related to the ministry of telecommunication and information technology, admin for national norm and standard and the railway office, which have long been in uncertainty and made needed directions.
