Two Agricultural Projects Inaugurated in Baghlan

PUL-E-KHUMRI CITY (BNA) The construction work of two agricultural projects have been completed and put into exploitation in northern Baghlan province.
Ahmad Zia Rahimi in-charge of Citizens’ Charter National Priority Program in Rural Rehabilitation and Development Department of Baghlan told BNA correspondent, the projects has been constructed with a sum of over three million Afghanis funded by ministry of rural rehabilitation and development and 10% local residents participation in Baghlan Markazi district of the province within the last six months.
Eng. Awal Khan Ahmadzai head of rural rehabilitation and development said, the projects include agricultural water canal with length of 250 meters and 73 meters of retaining wall and water supply network.
By implementation of the projects 600 families have gained access to clean drinking water and irrigational water have provided to 800 acres of lands in Baghlan Markazi district of Baghlan province.
