Afghan Goods Containers Suspension In Afghan-Iran Border Against Trade Rights

Kabul (BNA) The spokesperson of the Ministry of Commerce and Industries says that the problem of Afghan traders on the Iranian border had been resolved and three containers of goods were allowed to move towards Afghanistan.
The spokesperson says this at a time that Farida Hamidi Neemruz People’s deputy at the National Assembly says that around 3,000 containers of Afghan traders’ goods are lying on the Iranian-Afghanistan border for the past 15 days for unknown reasons.
She added that the containers contain traders’ good and most of them are consumer good which if remain for long can be wasted as well.
She accused Iranian border authorities for creating problems for the Afghan traders for unknown reasons and they are practically violating the transit rights of Afghanistan and if this problem is not resolved the Afghan traders will not invest in the Chah Bahar area of Iran.
She said that some members of the National Assembly discussed this with the diplomats of Iranian embassy in Kabul and asked for resolving of this problem and the Iranian diplomats said that they will solve this problem.
Meanwhile, Mrs. Farishta Amini another deputy at the National Assembly said that the head of custom houses of finance ministry met with the officials of Sistan of Baluchistan as well, adding that probably the problem has been resolved.
