Afghan Industry Has Its Role In Employment Of Jobless

Kabul (BNA)  Chairman and members of the nationwide industry union of Afghanistan in their meeting with second vice-president Mohammad Karim Khalili and chairman of economic committee shared their achievements and challenges in the industrial spheres they said that Afghanistan had some achievements in industry and reiterated that now Afghanistan is dependent on its domestic products in 15 sectors, adding that there are 200 active plants in Kabul and some of our industries for the first time are exporting their products to the regional countries. 
They also specified their problems in terms of non-availability of land, financial facilities and very complicated tax laws and asked for serious attention of the government for tackling their problems. 
They also informed Khalili on formation of a national conference for assessment of Afghanistan industries in the near future. 
At the meeting Khalili expressed pleasure over the achievements of the Afghan industry and considered the role of this sector in creation of jobs and meeting the needs of the people. 
Second vice president assured them that their problems will be discussed at a plenary session of the economic committee. 
The union of Afghan industries represents industrialists of Kabul, Herat, Mazar-i-Sharif, Kandahar and Jalalabad that are running over 2000 productive plants.
