National Institute of Agriculture and Rural Development inaugurates in Kandahar

Kabul (BNA): The minister for rural development and rehabilitation Wais Barmak inaugurated the National Institute of Agriculture and Rural Development in Kandahar yesterday, BNA reported.
According to the report, the institution with having 36 classrooms dining, room, dormitory for boys, mosque and other facilities was built as a cost of 4.5 million US dollars financed by Canada.
In his address, Barmak said that the institute as an essential infrastructure plays significant role in educating the youth and developing agriculture in the southern and western region of the country.
Mentioning 554 development projects at a cost of 26 million US dollars in Kandahar, minister Barmak noted that more than 500,000 people have benefited the projects.
