Kabul (BNA) UNAMA express concern over increasing violence against civilians
UNAMA in Afghanistan has expressed concern over increasing violence against non – military people in Afghanistan during holy Ramadan month and asked fighting during this holy month of Ramadan.
BNA religion affairs analyst commenting on the issue writes UNAMA issuing a statement has condemned the recent violence in Afghanistan and accused Taliban for targeting civilians. This great international organization insisted that there was no any justification for carrying out attacks on non – military people.
UNAMA in its statement have point to the recent attack of Taliban on a non – state organization that caused among civilians.
UNAMA has asked the involved parties to stop fighting during the holy month of Ramadan and meet their obligation over protecting non – military people.
The statement has been issued exactly in a time that Taliban have increased violence against Afghan people and admitted the responsibility of attack on Counterpart t -office in Kabul.
The explosion, in Monday evening on Darulaman Street, toke place after four explosions in Jalalabad city in May 11that claimed the lives of four children. Another explosion in one of the districts of Faryab province claimed the lives of four children. Planting mine in Muqur region Ghazni province killed 7 children and injured 7.  Also and explosion of mine killed 10 people in Dara – Soof district Samangan province including women and children. Also planting mine in Daikandy province killed five passengers and injuring four others. The above incidents were just a part of crimes, Taliban have committed during Ramadan.
Rejecting enforcement of ceasefire by Taliban in Ramadan holy month could not be incidental, they want to create a situation while they are starting the six rounds of talks with American representatives and denied ceasefire.
Now it is not cover to anybody that this terrorist group still carrying out terrorist activities. Therefore the situation ask the international agencies such United Nations that has the capability to settle acute issues to practically punish such terrorist people because just reporting is not enough.
Islamic Republic of Afghanistan feels great responsibility for protecting the life of civilians, even when felt that the lives of non – military people are in danger, have stopped military operations.
While Taliban and other terrorist groups, besides targeting civilians, use the residential areas and public installations as a trench.  This evil act should be ended forever.
