Three NATO Soldiers Killed In Afghanistan

Kabul (BNA) Three NATO soldiers have been killed in the east of Afghanistan yesterday.
These soldiers that their identities have not said, were killed on Taliban attack.
NATO by sending a press statement to BNA confirmed the dead of three soldiers, but not mentioned the identities and the exact place of the event.
Possibly, these soldiers have been killed in yesterday’s suicide attack in Khost province.
This attack took place while a suicide bomber riding a motorbike exploded himself in front of American forces.
According to the local authorities, in this event besides NATO soldiers, 14 civilians and 3 policemen were killed and 35 others injured.
With killing of these soldiers, the number of NATO casualty in 2012 reached 205 soldiers in Afghanistan.
NATO lost 596 soldiers in Afghanistan last year.

Flood Took Lives Of 16 Persons In Faryab

Thursday, June 21, 2012
Faryab (BNA) Heavy flood took the lives of 16 persons including 7 women and a child in Faryab province.
This flood occurred in related areas of Almar district of that province last evening which destroyed 10 residential houses and 100 hectares of agricultural lands.
Salih Mohammad Salih district governor of Almar told BNA, 16 bodies have been discovered yet.
He added, the rescue teams are making efforts to fine the two other bodies.
Report said, tens families due to flood left their houses to schools, mosques and other areas which are in need of food, medicine, potable water, cloths and shelter.
District governor of Almar said, emergency aids are on the way to the flood affected people.
Faroq who lost his house in this flood, asked the government and other foundations to provide, foodstuff, medicine and shelter for the affected people as soon as possible.

NATO Copter Make Emergency Landing

Khost (BNA) A copter of NATO forces made emergency landing in Darwaz Sakna area of Khost province today.
The military press office of American forces in Bagram by sending a statement to BNA confirmed the emergency landing of this copter and called it technical problem not attack of Taliban fighters.
According to the statement, the commuters of the copter had no casualties.
But some security sources in Khost province said that this copter has crashed.
Meanwhile, reports say, a military copter of NATO has collided in Zormat district of Paktia province this morning.

Baghlan (BNA) Two public utility project came under utilization in Baghlan province today.
These projects included power production plant and lavatory which was built in Farang and Central Baghlan districts.
Shafiq Ahmad Alamyar head of rural rehabilitation and development department of Baghlan province told this news agency, 631 families benefited from the mentioned projects.
It is said that the rural rehabilitation ministry has allocated 2,400,000 dollars for these two projects.
The power plant produce 13.2 MW power for hundreds families in the area, said the source.
Alamyar said, residents of the area has 10% share in construction of these projects.

Suicide Attack Clams Lives In Khost

Wednesday, June 20, 2012
Khost (BNA) Up to 12 persons were killed and 20 others injured in a suicide attach in Khost province today.
It is said that more victims of the attack are civilians.
The event took place around 12:00am in Faiz Mohammad’s square of Khost city while a suicide bomber riding a motorbike targeted the caravan of American forces.
A security official of that province told this news agency, in this event 12 persons were killed and 20 others injured.
The source confirmed killing of American forces in this event, but said nothing about the number of casualties of American forces.
American military forces have said nothing in this regard yet.
Meanwhile, Dr. Abdul Majeed Mangal Head of Khost hospital in a telephonic contact with BNA said, 10 bodies and 14 injured persons have been shifted to this hospital yet which most of them are civilians.
He called the health condition of five wounded persons critical.

Kabul (BNA) Chaired by Second Vice-President Mohammad Karim Khalili the council of ministers economic committee session was held reviewing the report presented by minister of finance on preparedness of Afghanistan for the Tokyo Conference. 
He said that Afghanistan and the international community are well prepared for the Tokyo conference, adding that Afghanistan will present 22 national development programs and priorities in the infrastructures, development of human resources, good governance and development of the private sector. 
He stressed that with attraction of the support of international community the Tokyo conference in relation to the development programs we expect that Afghanistan in the future years will have marked achievements in economic, political and social spheres. 
The meeting participants expressed their views in this respect. 
Mohammad Karim Khalili pointing to the need for follow up of implementation of probable commitments at the Tokyo Conference considered the serious need for good governance, serious struggle against corruption. 
The meeting instructed the sectoral ministries to be prepared for implementation of probable commitments at the Tokyo Conference. 
At the end the meeting the members of the committee studies the proposal of the Steel Meting Factory of Safa Rahimi on purchase of iron of Herat province for production of iron bars proposed by the economy ministry. 
In order to support the private sector the proposal was adopted by the meeting on the basis of highest price of bidding process and standard production turn out.

Urozgan (BNA) The local in charges of Urozgan said that they discovered a large cache of explosive materials in Urozgan province. 
According to this in charges, this cache has been discovered in a special operation of Urozgan national security from Dehyak city area, of Trenkot city. 
A source of the national security of Urozgan said to BNA, 270 kg of explosive materials and 100 kg of Ammonium Nitrate were seized. 
Taliban used from this explosive materials in making of bombs and roadside mines and suicide vests, said the source.

Four Suicide Bombers Detained In Faryab

Kabul (BNA) Four suicide bombers were arrested in Faryab province yesterday. 
These persons wanted to enter in a 303 bus for carrying out of a suicide attack in Marzar-i-Sharif city, in effort of national police forces; they were arrested with 3 suicide vests full of explosive materials in Shah Mardan area, Andkhou district of Faryab province. 
The identity of the arrested attackers has not clear.

School Building Inaugurated In Sheberghan

Sheberghan (BNA) New building for Afghan Tapa girls’ school was inaugurated in Sheberghan city today. 
Abdul Raof Aryan deputy of education Dept. of Jauzjan said to BNA, this school’s building has been constructed in the area of one and half jirib of land with the financial assistance of Swedish country and cooperation of UNICEF within 6 month. 
This school has 6 classrooms, 2 administrative rooms, and potable water well and other necessary facilities, said the source.

Two Commanders Of Haqani Network Arrested

Kabul (BNA) Two local commanders of Haqani network were arrested in Afghanistan today. 
These two commanders have been arrested in two military operations by Afghan and NATO forces from outskirts of Samkani district of Paktia and Pul-i-Alam district of Logar provinces. 
NATO in a press statement said to BNA, these commanders were arrested on charges of terrorist attacks on Afghan and NATO forces from their hideouts. 
NATO said that in this operation a number of rebels have been arrested as well. 
The statement said nothing about casualties of Afghan, NATO and civilians in the operations.
