Kabul (BNA) Dozens of Afghan containers filled with trading stuffs have been stopped along Pakistan-Afghanistan route. 
According to Pakistani news media, Pakistani security forces have stopped dozens of the Afghan containers filled with stuffs, considering that the stuffs belonged to NATO forces. 
The containers have been stopped in checkpoint of Tkhta Baig, an area in Jamroud of Peshawar.

Kabul (BNA) This workshop is attended by the leading body of public health ministry, heads of provincial health departments, heads of departments of the center, some representatives of international partner organizations and some implementing partner’s representatives. 
Acting minister of public health Suraya Dalil in her address initially prayed for soul of the martyrs of the Ashura Day and all other martyrs of right and justice especially those having sacrificed their lives in offering health services and thanked the medical personnel strived for treatment of the wounded of this tragic incident in Kabul, Mazari Sharif and Kandahar provinces. 
She added that this workshop is held at a time that last week the Second Bonn Conference ended its deliberation with participation of over 100 representatives from the world countries and international organizations and expressed their political support to the people of Afghanistan. 
Dalil added that recent results of mortality survey indicate a marked achievement in health sector and I congratulate the medical personnel of the country. 
She added that three years ago before the declaration of the recent survey of 2010 mortality in Afghanistan showed the death of mother in every 27 minutes due to delivery, while now in every two hours a mother dies to delivery in the same manner from every six children under 5, one lost its life and of every 10 children under five, one lose its life. 
She added that the survey showed that the health sector is a reliable area for investment. Dalil attributed insecurity, social problems, geographical strains and lack of control of borders of the country as major challenges before the health sector and now Afghanistan stands among the four polio endemic nations. 
Dalil asked all the participants of this workshop to convey their view points in better managing the health sector and ensuring of better coordination among the central and provincial branches of the health sector. 
The workshop continues for three days and it studies the problems and challenges before the health service delivery and seeks better ways and means to improve health services to the people.

Kabul (BNA) President Karzai issued an order for assigning an assessment team led by the attorney general of the Islamic
Republic of Afghanistan to evaluate the suicide attack on Ashura Day in Kabul. 
The tenth of Muhraram the day of martyrdom of Hazrate Imam Hussain (PBUH) the grandson of Hazrate Mohammad (PBUH) is annually marked through mourning celebrations by the pious Muslim nation of Afghanistan in a manner of Islamic fraternity and unity and with the spirit of peace among the tribes in a view of struggling against cruelly and oppression throughout the country. 
The enemies of peace and calmness of the people of Afghanistan in follow up of their unforgivable crimes against the innocent Muslim people of the country, once again in this holy day stained their dirty hands with the blood of innocent pious countrymen including the men and women and children, and martyred and wounded tens of our mourners. 
In order to assess and carry on initial investigations on this tragic incident, I approve assignment of the following delegation:

1.  Mohammad Ishaq Aleko, the attorney general of Islamic Republic of Afghanistan as chairman,
2. General Abdul Majid Khwary authorized representative of national defense ministry as member,
3. Abdul zahir authorized representative of interior ministry as member,
4. General Mohammad Nabi Ayani authorized representative of the administration affairs and council of ministers secretariat as member,
5. Colonel Ali Ahmad authorized representative of the national security department as member. The delegation is assigned to investigate and assess this tragic incident, verify its factors and its perpetrators, arrest and pursue them legally. The delegation should present the result of its investigations in three weeks to the presidential office.

Defense Minister Meets US Senate Delegation

Kabul (BNA) Defense Minister, Abdul Raheem Wardak met with the budget committee head for the US senate, Powel Ryan and his accompanying delegation here in Kabul, national defense press office reported. 
According to the defense ministry’s press office, at the meeting, the security situation, national army development, training and equipment had been discussed between the two sides as the main agendas. 
The national defense minister assured the US delegation of the developed Afghan national army and is ready to take over security of the country from the international forces in the appointed deadline, but emphasized that the national army’s different segments should be equipped with modern military facilities to address the current requirements. 
Meanwhile, the US senate delegation on behalf of his country assured not to spare any cooperation in the area of equipment and training of the national army, the statement quoted. 
The regional security and relations and effectiveness of the peace talks had also been discussed between the two sides during the meeting.

Kabul (BNA) In order to celebrate the world day of volunteers, initiated by the office of the deputy minister for you affairs of ministry of information and culture, the work of volunteers was launched and the youth took part in cleaning of the Wazir Mohammad Akbar Khan hospital and Malali maternity hospital. 
Thanking the youth Temur Shah Ishaqzai deputy minister for youth affairs of the ministry thanked the volunteer youths and appreciated cooperation of the UN in Kabul. 
He told the youth that day is the world day for volunteers and you achieved your mission in cleaning different parts of the city and this way mark the world day. 
The UN representative said at the ceremony that those volunteers who carry on voluntary works in reality take bold steps towards development of their society. 
The youth had been divided into two categories and accompanied by the deputy minister started cleaning of Wazir Mohammad Akbar Khan and Malalai maternity hospital.

President Karzai’s Condolence Message

Kabul (BNA) Regretfully, we got information that one of the Nangarhar University experienced lecturers, Prof. Abdul Waheed Alokozai who had been suffering from a serious illness had passed away. 
Late Prof. Dr. Abdul Waheed Alokozai had worked for years in Nangarhar University, spent most of his life in teaching young doctors with leaving many scientific works and performing his duty in a good manner and his death is a tragedy. 
I extend my sympathy to his family, friends and the Nangarhar University personnel and great patience for the bereaved family.

Kabul (BNA) President of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan, Hamid Karzai addressing in the World Corruption Day here in Kabul asked the international community to refrain any propagation against Afghanistan, presidential press office said. 
A statement issued by the presidential press office said that speaking in the meeting held on the occasion of the international corruption day; President Hamid Karzai said that some media released reports that Afghanistan would face civil war after the international forces withdrawal from the country. 
“Civil war had taken place from the interferences of the foreign countries and our errors”. 
President Karzai said as quoted in the statement, adding that, “We ask the world community to cooperate with us and abstain from launching any propagation against us”. 
According to the statement, the president, added that the Traditional Loya Jerga participants had been the real representatives of the people of the people of Afghanistan and discussed conditions for the presence of the international forces in the country, so the world community should try its best to restore security in the country and work for the people unison.

UN Delegation Visits Herat

Herat (BNA) A high level delegation of UN met with Aseluddin Jasi deputy governor of Herat yesterday. 
According to BNA reporter, this delegation visited Afghanistan for evaluation activities of this organization. 
This visit took place on request of Afghan foreign ministry, Security Council and secretary general of that organization for assessment of transferring security responsibility process to the Afghan forces. 
In this visit, deputy governor of Herat expressing readiness for taking security responsibility asked the World Society’s further assist with Afghanistan till its self-sufficiency.

Kabul (BNA) President of Iran in a telephone contact with President of Afghanistan last night expressed his condolence on terrorist attack of the Ashora’s day in Kabul. 
Likewise, Mahmod Ahmadi Nezhad President of the Islamic Repblic of Iran emphasized on significance of the three partite session of Afghanistan-Pakistan-Iran, asked that the next session to be held between the authorities of these countries soon.  
According to presidential press office to BNA, in this telephone contact, Hamid Karzai president of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan thanking from Ahmadi Nezhad’s sympathies with the Afghan people, accepted his suggestion on holding of the three partite session of Afghanistan-Pakistan-Iran.
President Karzai said that extensions of friendly relations with neighboring countries are at the priorities of Afghanistan’s foreign policy and Afghanistan is ready to participate in this session.

Kabul (BNA) In cleaning up operations of national army soldiers in the last 24 hours in provinces of the country, 30 armed militants was detained and a number of arms and ammunition were seized. 
According to national defense ministry press office to BNA, the operations carried out in Kandahar, Helmand, Nangarhar, Logar, Khost, Zabul and Farah provinces, in which 30 armed militants were captured and 6 Kalashnikovs, 3 sets of communication means, 3 rocket launchers and other military equipments were seized by these forces.
