Kabul (BNA)   We believe on balloons, the slogan which is chanted by the Afghan youth mainly the artist and by distributing nearly 10, 000 pink balloons these youths strived to convey the message of peace, love and brotherhood to the residents of the capital city so that the people are persuaded to collectively denounce violence and lead this country towards sustainable peace and tranquility. Commenting on peace campaign , Khalid Ahmad Diyani organizer of the program told media that main purpose of the initiative was to convey the message of peace and love to the residents of Kabul and each of one of the balloons have something to say including its pink color . Another participant Zubaida Akbari said that the pink color was selected to support gender equality and the women and one of the main aspects of the initiative was to enhance public awareness regarding the fundamental and humanitarian rights of the women in a male dominated society like Afghanistan and added that each balloon has a message which is the message of peace and brotherhood. The   campaign participants entered in congested public sites to distribute these pink color balloons to at least 10 thousand people in capital city Kabul while the city witnessed couple of terror assaults days before. A campaign participant Ms. Parwin said that we have imitated this walk to convey peace message to the people and we hope that durable peace and security are restored in the war stricken country soon. Local resident Indris said that we want peace and stability to be resorted in the country because in the country because the people of Afghanistan are now tried of war and bloodsheds. Initially, the campaign was launched by a Colombian youth and the main aim of the campaign in Kabul was to enhance public awareness regarding significance of peace in capital Kabul. The Colombian youth said that the main aim of the move is to promote unity among the people of the world and prevent ethnic, color, race, gender and ethical discriminations among the people. It’s said that initially the campaign was launched in various countries of the world same as India, Colombia and Japan and later on the initiative conducted in the United States, Belgium , Colombia , but in Afghanistan the campaign launched at a time after capital Kabul witnessed series of explosions and suicide attacks by the terrorist organizations which are being formulated and designed in neighboring  Pakistan .At the meantime , the UN secretary general Ban Ki Moon strongly condemned  the suicide attacks in Kabul and analysts emphasize on collective efforts to combat the humiliated phenomena of terrorism from the world as fundamentalism and extremism strongly threaten global security. Political commentators and security analysts believe that the enemies of Afghanistan are trying to sabotage peace restoration in the country and there is need for collective efforts of the people and government to combat the menace effectively so that the people of Afghanistan get rid of the oppressions and breathe in peaceful environment. Afghanistan extremely requires longstanding peace and security in the view of current circumstances and all political factions should strive to seek settlements to their issues and differences through legal and civilized ways so that evil intentions of the enemies are foiled

3 Taliban mine planters killed

Farah (BNA) a security in charge of Farah reported from killing of three Taliban mine planters.
The mine planters were killed last night in Anardara district.
Abdul Rahman Zhwandou spokesman governor of Farah said BNA, three armed Taliban wanted to plant various anti-vehicle mines along the road of Anardara district; the mine exploded and killed them.

Farah (BNA) three civilians were martyred and two others wounded in explosion of a roadside mine in Farah province yesterday.
Abdul Rahman Zhwandou spokesman governor of Farah said BNA, the incident occurred in the relevant areas of Khak-e-Safeed district when a police vehicle hit a roadside mine, as a result of which three civilians were martyred and two others wounded.

Kabul (BNA)  14 Taliban and member of Haqani network were killed in a series operations  by Afghan and NATO forces in the country.
Three local commanders of Taliban and 2 organizers of terrorist attacks of Haqani network were among the killed insurgents.
BNA quoting NATO reports, the insurgent’s came under attack by Afghan and NATO forces in different parts of Khost, Logar, Kandahar, Helmand, Zabul and Urozgan provinces and killed.
According to NATO the three commanders targeted by Afghan and NATO forces while organizing of terrorist attacks and lost their lives.
In these operations, 14 Taliban and member of Haqani network were killed.
Meanwhile, NATO reported from arresting of 4 insurgents during the two operations in Kandahar and Zabul provinces.
NATO said, these forces also seized three weapons depots.
It should be said that tens of weapons and hundreds kg of explosives and narcotic were seized from these depots.

32 insurgents killed

Kabul (BNA)  a source of interior ministry said , 32 armed insurgents were killed in a cleansing operation conducted  by Afghan security forces .
Interior ministry press office said BNA 32 armed insurgents were killed during several cleansing operation while destructive and terrorist activities in the relevant areas of Kunar, Kapisa,  Kandahar, Logar, Ghazni, Herat and Helmand provinces.
9 Kalashnikovs, 1 PK machine guns, 61 different types of mines, other military equipment and 40 kg of narcotic wee seizes.
According to another report,
The national police personnel discovered and defused 5 anti-vehicle mines from vicinities of Paktia province.
Also, 30 jirib of lands were cleaned from poppy bushes in Badakhshan province.  The farms have been cleaned by Special Forces of anti-narcotic in Tashkan district of Badakhshan province.

Taliban senior commander arrested

Kabul (BNA) the national army forces during a cleansing operation arrested a Taliban commander along with his 4 men in Helmand province.
According to national defense ministry, the commander had activity against government and disturbing people in Nahersaraj district, and arrested along with his 4 men by national army forces.
According to another report, two armed Taliban were killed in a clash with national army forces in Helmand province.
The clash occurred in the Mrarja district, when a patrol of national army police faced with group of militants, in which two militants were killed and others fled.

Kabul (BNA) Ministry of public health signed three partnership agreements with Germany, Canada and United States Agency for International Development (USAID) the ministry said in a statement.
The Islamic Republic of Afghanistan is trying its best to expand health sector under which the people could get full access to health essentials all over the country.
While signing three partnership protocols with the ministry, the said donors expressed their long-term commitments in supporting the health sector of Afghanistan, the ministry’s press office said in a statement.
As the people of Afghanistan have suffered much from lack of healthcare during the last several decades of war and civil skirmish in the country, the ministry of public health is trying its best to establish healthcare centers including midwifery and drug addict treatment.  The partnership protocols was signed between Afghan Public Health Minister Dr. Suraya Dalil, USAID Head of Mission for Afghanistan Mr. Ken Yamashita, Deputy Ambassador of Germany Mr. Owcza and Ambassador of Canada Mr. Glenh Davidson here in Kabul on Monday, the statement said.
According to the statement, the main goal of these protocols are to strengthen capacity of the MoPH for implementation of policies, strategies, program, projects and activities, and to establish a stronger and more effective and efficient use of development partners support for the health care system in order to meet the health needs of the Afghan people.
Based on commitments of international community pledged in Tokyo conference, these three partnership protocols was signed with Germany and Canada USAID, said Dr. Suraya Dalil, Minister of Public Health to the media men.
She added in accordance with the protocols, these three international Health partners of Afghanistan are committed to provide technical and financial support for a long-term towards the health development programs in the country.  While emphasizing on continued cooperation with the Afghan government, USAID Head of Mission for Afghanistan Mr. Ken Yamashtia, said over the past decade, together with Afghan government gained significant achievements in delivering of health services in Afghanistan.
“In the future under the any conditions, USAID is also committed to support the health sector of Afghanistan for a long-time, he added.  Meanwhile Deputy Ambassador of Germany Mr. Owcza and Ambassador of Canada Mr. Glen Davidson express their further cooperation in providing technical and financial support with Afghan Government, said their countries have assisted many health project in Afghanistan during past decade.

3 insurgents killed

Kabul (BNA) in a clash between local police and Taliban in the Wordoj district of Badakhshan province, three armed insurgents were killed.
Doulat Mohammad Khawar Wordoj district governor said BNA, the clash occurred last night, in which three armed rebels were killed.
According to him in the clash, three local policemen were slightly wounded. After treatment they resumed their security activities.
According to governor of Wordoj , establishing local police now the situation is improved in that district.

10 prisoners released

Ghazni (BNA) ten prisoners were released from central jail of Ghazni province.
Abdul Samad Azad the head of  Ghazni court said BNA, the prisoners were released as per decree of Hamid Karzai President of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan  and in mandate of other eight prisoners decreased from six months to two years, among them   eight of are women.
450 prisoners including 7 women are presently in jail of Ghazni.

Faryab people kill 10 Taliban

Maimana (BNA) 10 armed Taliban were killed by people of Faryab province.
Peoples of Faryab started clash since 20 days in different parts of Almar district; they surrendered five other Taliban to Afghan security forces.
According to reports, the residents of Almar district also discovered some weapons depots of Taliban.
Ahmad Jaweed Bahzad spokesman governor of Faryab said BNA, in this clash, at least 10 armed Taliban including of local commander of this group were killed and 35 others wounded.
According to him, the security officials with cooperation of people arrested five other Taliban.
It is being said that the Ghayoli, Dangash and Cheghatak villages of Almar district were cleaned from presence of Taliban.
