Kabul (BNA) The House of People approved the national budget of 1392 in an extraordinary meeting for this purpose.  The house of people had twice rejected the budget for different reasons.  At the extraordinary meeting of the House of People chaired its chairman Abdul Rauf Ibrahimi, the national budget of 1392 after lengthy discussions was adopted with the majority vote of the deputies.
The national budget of 1392 contains Afs 196/327 billion development budget and the ordinary budget is Afs 157/750 billion.

Kabul (BNA) A meeting was held in Kabul to mark the auspicious Milad of Hazrate Mohammad (PBUH).
Organized by the Ministry of Hajj and Endowment, the meeting was attended by a number of religious scholars, Dr. Mohammad Yusuf Niazi talked in detail on the life of Great Prophet of Islam Hazrate Mohammad Mustafa the great leader and savior of Islam and humanity.
He added that acquaintance with the life and guidelines of the great prophet of Islam and following his deeds can lead us towards prosperity and progress.
He noted that the present calamities is emanating due to our distance from the auspicious guidelines of the Great Prophet, and said let start from ourselves and be sure that observing of the morale of the prophet will have no harm for observing of good morality benefits us all in this and the other world.
Chairman of the nationwide religious ulama Mawlawi Qayamuddin Kashaf also shed light on the guidelines and life of the Great Prophet of Islam.  He added that the Great Prophet of Islam was born in Holy Mecca and before he was born his father Abdullah bin Abdul Mutalib died and while he was only six year old his mother died.
He became orphan but he continued his life with all problems but due to khis good manners and good morality everyone in Mecca respected him.
Deputy Minister of Information and Culture Mubarez Rashidi also spoke on the life and deeds of the Great Prophet of Islam, saying that the prophet inherited the faith of and the Holy Book of Allah (Kuran).
Other speakers were some religious scholars.

Defense Minister visits Herat

Herat (BNA) General Besmellah Mohammadi Minister of defense arrived in Herat to assess security issues in the west zone.
Emphasizing on strengthening and equipping of the security forces during the transition of security, he assessed the activities of the army corps 207 Zafar and met with Herat governor Daud Shah Saba.
At the meeting they discussed transition of security and preparing of a deployment of Afghan security forces in Herat province.
The Defense Minister also met with the officers of Zafar army corps declaring the gains of national army in the zone as satisfactory.  General Taj Mohammad Jahid commander of army corps 207 Zafar said that the national army in the west zone has taken over the lead of operations and they are carrying it with success.
According to Jahid the task delegated to the national army in the west is being accomplished in good manners and the people as a while are supporting transition of security responsibility to the Afghan security forces.
The Defense Minister also activities of the army corps as satisfactory and added that with the blessing of Allah during the current year the national army has carried tens of joint operations in all the regions of the country in order to disintegrate the insurgents.
Currently, he added, almost 70% of security tasks are being performed by the Afghan security forces.  He asked the commanders of the national army to adopt preparations for accepting the fourth phase of security transition and for military operations.

Kabul (BNA) Marshal Mohammad Qasem Fahim First Vice-President met with some elders, members of provincial council and representatives of the people of Badghis at the National Assembly.
Addressing the audience Marshal Fahim said that the people in Badghis province also deserve the right like other people of the country to attain the facilities and services of the government.
He added that expansion and development in any province can be attained in the shadow of security and stability and I am sure that the people of Badghis province are cooperation in this respect with the provincial officials.
Two elders of Badghis at the meeting shared their problems with Marshal Fahim in terms of shortage of potable water, power and stoppage of asphalting of circular road connecting the province with Herat and asked the government to focus attention towards addressing those problems.
Marshal Fahim assured the elders of Badghis that attention will be directed by the related organs towards resolving of their problems.

President Karzai’s sympathy messages

Kabul (BNA)  The message notes that I was informed with regret the death of Ghulam Mohammad Zarmalwal, the cultural figure of the country, may his soul rests in peace.
Late Ghulam Mohammad Zarmalwal loved homeland and his people and in order to strengthen his national thinking he wrote many works and translated other works.  The cultural services of late Zarmalwal are appreciated and his death is a loss.
I therefore convey my sympathies to his bereaved family, friends and the people of Pakita province and wish peace for his soul.
Another message quotes the president as saying “I was informed with regret the death of Sayed Jailani Pacha advisor to the Supreme Court.  May his soul rest in peace”.
Late Sayed Jailani Pacha was a strong judge of the Supreme Court and he has served in different position in the judiciary of the country.  His death is a loss.
I convey my sympathies to the bereaved family, friends and the people of Nangarhar province and wish peace for his soul and patience for his family members.

NSC discusses electronic ID distribution

Kabul (BNA)  The National Security Council with President Hamid Karzai on the chair discussed issuing electronic national identity card and security situation in the country yesterday.  Briefing the meeting the minister for communication and information technology Amirzai Sangin and a deputy to the ministry for interior Mirza Mohammad Yarmand said that all the necessary preparation had been held for issuing the computerized national ID card and the process might being in 1th Hamal 1392.  Some 80 percent of the technical equipment has reportedly been taken to Kabul.
In the meeting it was said that issuing electronic national ID cards is a national process and all the concerned departments of the government for its implementation.
Briefing the council on the reported tying bodies of two Taliban militants to a vehicle of national army in Zarmat district of Paktia province in 1388, chief of army staff general Shir Mohammad Karimi the soldiers had tied them to their vehicle as precautionary measures to prevent possible explosion of suicide vests or explosive devices in their bodies, saying one solider has been arrested in this case.
The council also noted that humiliating corpses is against Islamic norms and values.

3 armed militants killed in Ghazni

Ghazni (BNA) three armed militants were killed in clash between armed Taliban and public order police in the Shojamat village, Gelan district of Ghazni province.  BNA reporter reported, armed Taliban attacked on security posts of Gelan district, which they were faced with resistance of security forces, in which three armed Taliban were killed.  This clash continued for an hour, and a national police was martyred in this clash.

NATO solider killed in Afghanistan

Kabul (BNA)  a NATO solider was killed in the south of the country yesterday evening.  BNA quoting from NATO press statement, the soldier was killed in attack of armed Taliban.  The statement said nothing regarding the identity and exist area.

Kabul (BNA) three Pakistani Taliban were killed in uprising of people in the Watapoor district of Kunar province.  An eyewitness in Kunar said BNA, the residents of Dewoz, Katar and Chardango villages of Watapoor district started uprising against Pakistani Taliban.  It is being said, clash took place between the residents of the three villages and Pakistani Taliban when 4 residents of the area arrested by Taliban on charges of spying.  Residents of the area asked them to introduce their selves and explain detail of their arrest, later on, it became clear that they were Pakistanis and disturbs the residents of the area without any reason, as a result of this barbaric of Pakistani Taliban, the residents clashed with Pakistani Taliban, three Pakistani Taliban were killed and a number of the local people injured  .

Ring-leader of Talban arrested

Kabul (BNA)  a ring-leader of armed Taliban was arrested in Kandahar.  National defense ministry press office said BNA, the ring-leader was arrested by special unit of national army forces while he was launching in attack from vicinity of Daman district of Kandahar province.  The ring-leader was responsible for delivering of arms and ammunition for Taliban militants and planting roadside.  According to another report, the personnel of 205 army crops discovered and neutralized 25 mines which were placed by armed militants in the vicinity of Panjwai district of Kandahar province.
