Kabul (BNA)  President Hamid Karzai in his address to the 67th General Assembly of the United Nations has pointed out the profane film produced by extremists had hurt the feeling of more than 1.5 billion Muslims in the world and strongly condemned it.  The president in his speech noted that insulting films or cartoons cannot be justified as freedom of press, saying such behavior can threat the co-existence among the cultures and civilizations, calling on western politicians and media outlets to fight against such evils. 
Counting Afghanistan’s achievements over the past years, the president said that Afghanistan has achieved a lot.
However, the prime expectation of Afghans which peaceful life has not been achieved completely, saying Afghans is still become the victims of war on terror and suffer.
President Karzai pointed out the sanctuaries of terrorists are outside Afghanistan and not in Afghan villages, saying the war on terror must be taken on the  centers of terrorist, otherwise, it would be useless.
In efforts to facilitate direct talks with the armed oppositions, the president called on the United Nations to delete the names of Taliban leaders from the black list.
On relations with Pakistan, president Karzai said Afghanistan is committed to having brotherly relations with Pakistan.  However, noted that artillery shelling from Pakistan on Afghanistan villages would damage trust between the two nations.

Kabul (BNA) tens of rebels was arrested in several military operations in Afghanistan this morning.  These rebels were arrested in military operations of Afghan and NATO militaries from outskirts of Maiwand district of Kandahar, Syeedkaram district of Paktia and Sharan city center of Kunar province.  NATO press statement said to BNA, these rebels were arrested during terrorist activities.  It is said tens of arms of rebels with quantity of narcotic of them were seized by these forces.  NATO said these rebels are belonged to Taliban group, Haqani network and militias attributed to Islamic Party.  According to this statement, in these operations, the civilians had no causalities.  In another statement, NATO reported from killing of 11 rebels attributed to Haqani network in Ghazni province.  NATO said these rebels were targeted by Afghan and foreign militaries while terrorist activities in the relevant areas of Gelan district and killed.  This operation was launched for arresting of commander of this group but he was not present in the spot.  Tens of heavy and light arms were seized by Afghan and NATO forces in this operation.  This statement said nothing about casualties of Afghan, NATO militaries and civilians in this operation.

NATO soldier killed in Afghanistan

Kabul (BNAS) a NATO soldier was killed in attack of rebels in Afghanistan.  The identity of this foreign military has not clear but he was targeted by rebels during his patrol and lost his live.  NATO press statement confirmed killing of this solider but said nothing about identity and exact areas of this event.  From beginning of the current year till now, nearly 560 foreign militaries in Afghanistan were lost their lives.

Kabul (BNA) 4 local commanders of Taliban were arrested in several military operations in Afghanistan this morning.  These commanders were arrested from vicinities of Kandahar, Helmand, Ghazni and Logar provinces.  NATO press statement said to BNA, these commanders were targeted by Afghan and foreign militaries while terrorist activities and arrested.  In these operations, several rebels were killed and wounded as well.  It should be said tens of arms and quantity of narcotic of Taliban were seized by these forces.  This statements said nothing about casualties of Afghan, foreign militaries and civilians.

Kabul (BNA) nine rebels attributed to Haqani network were killed in a military operation in Khost province yesterday.  These fighters were come under attack by Afghan and NATO forces while organizing of terrorist attacks.  BNA quoting from NATO statement, the hideout of these rebels located in the vicinities of Sabri district.  According to the statement, the aims launching of this military operation, was commander of this rebels attribute to Haqani group, but he was not present in this event.  NATO confirmed that in this military operation, 9 fighters of Haqani network were killed and their hideout of them was completely destroyed.  It is said several arms of rebels and quantity of narcotic were seized by these forces.

NAF kill 45 armed Taliban insurgents

Kabul (BNA) the Afghan and coalition forces in six combined operation in the several provinces of the country, killed 45 Taliban insurgents.  the interior ministry press office said to BNA, these operations conducted in the outskirts of Kunduz, Urozgan, Helmand, Ghoor and Ghazni provinces in which 45 Taliban insurgents were killed, 3 wounded and 32 others of them were arrested.  In this operation, a quantity of heavy and light arms, a motorcycle and a vehicle were seized by Afghan security forces.

Kabul (BNA)  the  press sources of national defense ministry said that five rebels were killed in a clash with national army forces in the Sabri district of Khost province.  National defense ministry press office said these militias were killed when they wanted to attack on national army forces.  Meanwhile national army forces arrested two armed rebels with 3 arms from Garmsir of Helmand province and also arrested other rebel from Zheri district of Kandahar province with quantity of medical medicine which transferred it for fighters.  Also, the national army soldiers discovered 37 mines from suburb of Kandahar province and prevented from several terrorist events.  According to another report, the national defense ministry confirmed that two national army soldiers were wounded during their security missions in Helmand and Kandahar provinces and their health condition have been reported satisfactory.

87 students leave for education to India

Kabul (BNA) 87 persons from India bourses left Kabul for India from national budget of government today.  According to high education ministry press office to BNA, Prof Obaidullah Obaid said that these are second group were dispatch for high education to India during last week.  According to him, these students after getting of examination were selected for bourses, and other groups of candidates of Malisya bourses will be dispatch to that country.

Mine blast wounds driver of a car in Nangarhar

Nangarhar (BNA) driver of a car was wounded in mine blast in Nangarhar province yesterday.  According to Shamshad 202 police zone press office, this mine was placed by armed Taliban along the road of Shinwar district and exploded during passing of a construction car, and wounded the driver of the car.

Kabul (BNA) armed Taliban targeted several of state foundations and headquarter of Panjshir province but says that in this event no one had casualties.  Local authorities of this province said, these rockets were landed near to security police center and appeal court in the Bazaarak city, the eyewitness said one of these rockets was landed to headquarter of that province.  Police source of Panjshir said to BNA, these rockets were landed from Andarab of Baghlan on state foundations of this province.  According to him, in this rocket attack, no one had causalities.
