Kabul (BNA) Dr. Sayed Makhdoom Raheen Minister of Information and Culture to participate in the worlds’ information ministerial session left Kabul for Paris yesterday.
According to BNA reporter from Kabul International Airport, this session holds on 21 to 23 of March with the initiative of UNSCO in Paris city of France.
Dr. Raheen said to BNA reporter in the airport, we participate in the session which talks are regarding freedom of speech and open political atmosphere.
We have numerous gaps to say in this session, as the freedom of speech and a large number of presses are the achievements that we had in the last decade.
Afghan Minister of Information and Culture will have talks with a number of French authorities in this session as well.

Kabul (BNA) Dr. Sayed Makhdom Raheen Minister of Information and Culture and Idgar Shareq General Director of UNESCO in Kabul signed a cooperation agreement in respect to rehabilitation of Bamyan statues. 
While signing the agreement Dr. Raheen said that the fourth phase on reconstruction of the remaining Bamyan statues destroyed by the ugly hands of terrorists and its will be started with the financial support of Japan. 
He expressed the hope that in the upcoming year, we will be witnessing more UNESCO support in rehabilitation of cultural heritages in Afghanistan. 
The general director of UNESCO said that Japan as part of its cooperation with the government of Afghanistan has facilitated the financial need of the fourth phase of reconstruction of Bamyan statues. 
He emphasized on continued assistance of UNESCO in protection of cultural heritages of Afghanistan. 
Availing of this opportunity he also congratulated the people of Afghanistan on the advent of New Year and expressed the hope that the New Year will be an important messenger of peace and stability in Afghanistan.

Kabul (BNA) Preparations for organizing ninth international music festival of Red Tulip is proceeding in Mazari-Sharif City.  The festival to be organized from 29th Hoot to the 2nd of Hamal artists of Tajikistan, India and Pakistan will participate.  Temur Shah Hakeem Chairman of the Preparatory Committee said that in addition to the foreign artists from 12 musical groups around 100 artists throughout Afghanistan will also participate at this festival for three days at the Hall of Marcopolo in the city.  The attendance of interested people is free of charge.  For this first time an international musical festival was held in 2003 initiated by the cultural foundation of civil society and cooperation of the Ministry of Information and Culture and this is being followed every year in Mazari Sharif.

Kabul (BNA) Different aspects of Afghan poet Manuchehri Damaghani’s life were reviewed in a seminar held here in Kabul.  The seminar was held on Wednesday by Afghanistan academy of sciences with participation of a number of knowledgeable figures and researchers.  It was held in Shah Bobo Jan palace on the occasion of 1000th anniversary of a star in Persian literature.  Hamid Karzai, president of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan in a message read out by head of the academy reminded of Ghazna, where Manuchehri Damaghani had spent his literal life, as a place of culture and said Ghazna will soon get the title of Islamic culture center.  Seminars held through the academy are effective for introduction of cultural figures of Ghazna.  Introduction of the Afghan poet’s thoughts of Ghazna has shown the culture of relers of Ghazna.  The message also said. “The current seminar was held on the occasion of 1000th death anniversary of Munichehri Damaghani.”  Literal researchers called him natural poet and said, “Manuchehri, also a natural, love and life poet, his poems are incomplete song.” Dr. Sayed Makhdom Rahin, minister of information and culture in his message read out by Jalal Noorani, advisor to ministry of information and culture said most researchers considered Ghazna’s empire was from Rai to Delhi, but a number of researchers considered that ulemas, knowledgeable figures, speakers of the time were related to the empire.  The message added if we wrote down names of the figures for literature, religion, astrology and architecture, we would get a long scroll.  In the message Dr. Rahin also said Manuchehri Damaghani, who also got title of master, was a poet whose poems are picturized in the mind of readers.  In the seminar a number of knowledgeable figures and writers read their articles related to life and character of the poet.  Abu Najem Ahmad Bin Quss Bin Ahmad Manuchehri was among those poets who lived 5th century of lunar year.
