Kabul (BNA) The Ministry of Information and Culture (MoIC) in a statement has condoled the demise of the country’s top historian, writer, politician and translator Prof. Hasan Kaker, who has passed away due to a disease he was suffering.
The deceased Prof. Kaker was born in Laghman in 1929 had completed his education inside and outside of the country where he later started teaching at Kabul University.
In 1981, he had gotten academic degree of professor and left behind dozens of books in history, philosophy and diplomacy, the statement said.
The Ministry of information and culture considered his death as loss for the country and political and academic process, wished him paradise and patience to his family and colleagues.
According to another report, in a separate statement, the MoIC has also condoled the death of national radio and television of Afghanistan top anchor Karim Rohina, who has passed away.
The deceased Rohina was born in Deh Afghanan area of Kabul city in 1929, had completed Istiqlal high school and started working in secondary studies department of the education ministry in 1949.
After working three decades in media, the deceased has passed away at age 78.
The Ministry of information and culture considered his death as loss for the country’s media family, wished him paradise and patience to his family and colleagues.
