Cultural Heritage Identifies Afghanistan’s Rich Civilization, Prof. Bawari

Kabul (BNA) Acting minister of information and culture has stressed that cultural and historic heritages were identifying and reflecting rich civilization of Afghanistan, so preservation and protection of the heritages were the responsibility of every Afghan, saying that media could also play considerable role in awareness of the people.
Prof. Mohammad Rasoul Bawari, Acting Minister of Information and Culture in a session which was held for coordination with top media organizations and participation of deputy minister of publication affairs for information and culture Sayed Aqa Fazil Sancharaki and officials of private and government media said preservation of the country’s historic monuments and heritages was not possible without support of Afghanistan people adding that they have made effort to call various organs for cooperation in this regard and fortunately some organizations have shown readiness to help in this regard.
He reiterated that media could play vital and valuable role in identification of cultural heritages and enlightening of the people’s minds and the MoIC, playing role as supporter of speech freedom and would continue its support from media.
Meanwhile, in open discussion a number of media officials representing the others shared their suggestions and visions with acting minister of information and culture, asking that such discussions should be held towards enriching cultural heritages.
Afterwards, deputy minister of publication affairs stressed and hoped that they would reach agreement in connection with propaganda and awareness in this regard in coming discussions.
