Holy Quran Manuscript Exhibition Opened In Kabul

Kabul (BNA) An exhibition of Holy Quran manuscript was opened Monday in national archive.
In a ceremony held on this occasion, head of national archive Mohammad Afsar Rahbeen said that 31 volumes of written Holy Quran, 10 volumes of Tafseer and two volumes of Ahadith were put for exhibition.
He added that the country’s national archive had 700 copies of written Holy Quran besides preservation of valid documents.
The hand-written copies of the Holy Book which is put in the exhibition are the copies that have been written by the third Caliph of Islam Hazrat Uthman, the fourth Caliph Hazrat Ali and Hazrat Imam Hassan.
He asked the country’s diplomatic agencies to foreign countries to cooperate with MoIC in holding such exhibitions in other countries of the world.
In the ceremony, deputy minister of publication affairs for information and culture Sayed Fazil Sancharaki regarded the manuscripts as spiritual and valuable.
It is worth mentioning that the exhibition will be opened for three days.
