Women’s Handicraft Exhibition Opened In Kabul

Kabul (BNA) With initiation of deputy minister of information and culture on finance, administrative and tourism affairs, a women handicraft
S exhibition held in Babur Shah Center, BNA reported the other day.
During the exhibition, women hand-made foodstuff were put on display, according to the agency.
In inauguration ceremony of the fair, Deputy MoIC Sayeda Mojgan Mostafavi spoke about the women role in different dimensions of political. , social, cultural and economic, adding I hope inauguration of such fairs that indicate the artistic fingers of women would have a good market, BNA added.
She stated that holding such exhibitions would help women sell their handicrafts in and abroad, BNA went on to say.
About the first women handicrafts’ exhibition being sponsored by some production companies, the ministry of women affairs as well as in cooperation with the ministry of information and culture to mark Mother Day, MoIC’s gender department head Mahbouba Saadat said, ‘It is a matter of pleasure and I praise the mothers’ sacrifices a person who shakes the cradle with one hand and the world with another.’
