Meeting Held for Supporting Afghanistan Constitution

Kabul (BNA) The Deputy Ministry of Information and Culture on Youth Affairs co-chaired a meeting on the Youth Discourse for Supporting Afghanistan Constitution with the Independent Oversight Commission on Implementation of Constitution here in Kabul, BNA reported Tuesday.
Addressing the meeting, Ajmal Shahpur, the Deputy Minister of Information and Culture on Youth Affairs said one of the country’s constitution values is that it had not only paid attention to the present, historical, cultural and religious values of the people but also to what we need for the future in the current contemporary world.
“The more we explain the values of law, particularly those of the constitution to the country’s citizens, the more we have taken part in the order of the society and better build the social life,” said the deputy minister.
He asked for holding such programs for the youths all over the country’s provinces, the agency quoted.
Other participants including a member of the Independent Oversight Commission on Implementation of Constitution, Dr. Abdul Rauf Herawi provided information about the issue in the meeting.
They said lack of information about the law was the biggest problem and that the people hold be helped get aware of the law, according to the agency.
