Well-Arranged Plan Needed for National Languages Growth, Bawari

Kabul (BNA) Prof. Mohammad Rasoul Bawari, the Deputy Minister of Information and Culture attended a training workshop ‘Growth & Development of Afghanistan National Languages’ on Sunday, BNA reported.
The training workshop was attended by over 120 language teachers and experts, with the deputy minister saying: “To grow and improve the country’s national languages there is a need for a well-arranged plan. “Speaking on the importance of language, the deputy minister said language was the reason for the survival of the nations and tribes in the society, the agency said.
He said in order to help the national languages further grow and improve in Afghanistan, there was a need for codification of a procedure, which he insisted to be followed, the agency quoted.
Presidential adviser, Asadullah Ghazanfar also spoke at training workshop and regretted for some of the country’s languages with no still script and handwriting.
He emphasized for continued work to expand and improve languages in the country, the statement quoted.
