MoIC Marks Constitution Week in Kabul

Kabul (BNA) Leading body and employees of the Ministry of Information and Culture (MoIC) in a ceremony marked the Constitution Week in the ministry the other day.
In the ceremony, deputy minister of art and culture for information and culture Prof. Mohammad Rasul Bawary said attention has been paid to any section of social life in constitution, but unfortunately power and gun were still used in some extent and law and its values were trampled, adding that in current situation, attention should be paid to implementation of the law rather than modification of law.
Afterwards, a member of Commission for Overseeing on the Implementation of Constitution Abdul Rauf Herawi by pointing to the history of law and constitution in the country said for the first time in the history of Afghanistan, the constitution was approved first as regulations during the government of King Amanullah Khan but was completed a year later as a developed one in consideration to the demand of the time.
In the ceremony, legal advisor to the MoIC Delawar Nazirzoy spoke and said the 16th, 9th and 34th articles of the constitution whose executions were the task of the MoIC have been implemented in a better way.  He suggested that the country’s constitution should be included in education curriculum, adding that a high constitution council should be created instead of the commission on overseeing the implementation of constitution.
