“New Graduates to Address Health Sector’s Needs & Problems,” CE

Kabul (BNA) Chief Executive Dr. Abdullah Abdullah participated in 79th graduation ceremony of students of Kabul Medical University and delivered speech yesterday.
According to BNA report, speaking to graduated students of the university, the country’s chief executive while congratulating the graduated students, their families and academic society of the country said completing this higher education period was a significant stage, but entering educated youths to the society was in fact entering to world of new responsibilities. “Knowledge has no border and we hope that the new graduated students will serve health sector and their country regardless to religion, tribe and affiliation to any political and faction relations as our country needs honestly and continued services of new graduated students,” chief executive said, adding it was not true that saying a big part of our patients go abroad due to lack of experienced and qualified doctors. He said there were still honest, honorable and committed teachers and doctors serving for the country as very good developments have been done in the field of health in the country. In the ceremony, acting minister of higher education Abdul Tawab Bala Karzai said that the government was providing higher education to BA level to Afghan youths free of any charges; therefore, the anticipation of the government from the graduated students was to honestly serve the country.
