President Ghani Inaugurates Drs. Suhaila Saddiq Maternity Hospital

Kabul (BNA) President of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan, Mohammad Ashraf Ghani, during a ceremony cut the ribbon for the inauguration of a maternity hospital named after Drs. Suhaila Saddiq, here in Kabul, BNA reported. A ceremony was held on the occasion at the Headquarter of Sardar Mohammad Daud Khan Hospital, with the country’s President speaking about the works and services of Drs. Suhaila Saddiq and why the maternity hospital was named after her. “This is very little to be attributed to the works and valued services of Drs. Suhaila Saddiq,” said the country’s President thanking the commander of the Sardar Mohammad Daud Khan Military Hospital for naming the hospital after her.
President Ghani also lauded the country’s security and defense forces for defending the country’s system and people with their whole power. Touching to the country’s landmark election, he said: “The presidential election was an epic that over 75,000 security and defense forces of the country could take its security, during which, no complaint has been reported to have been registered about.” The hospital with modern diagnostic and treatment facilities, was built with the financial assistance of up to $4.5 million from the Italian government cooperation.
