Chief Executive Opens DNA Tests Lab in Kabul

Kabul (BNA) Chief Executive Dr. Abdullah Abdullah in a ceremony yesterday opened laboratories complex and DNA tests lab in Kabul.
In a ceremony held on this occasion, the country’s chief executive by praising the ministry of public health and its partner organizations considered the establishment of the complex as a significant steps towards detection of crimes and implementation of justice in the country, adding that interference of any single organ and section in work modality of the complex was not acceptable.
Dr. Abdullah stressed that security of the complex’s personnel and protection of secrets of individuals working in the complex was important; therefore, the ministry of public health, attorney general office and other relevant organs should pay consideration to the issue. The country’s chief executive also asked for creation of such centers in provinces of the country.
In the ceremony, minister of public health considered creation of the complex as a valuable achievement and a key step towards development in the respective field, stressing that practical and significant steps have been taken in accordance to the ministry’s strategic plan to improve health services in the country.
