Expired Foodstuffs Set On Fire In Kandahar

Kandahar (BNA) 12 tons of expired foodstuffs were set on fire by in-charges of public health of Kandahar province today. 
According to the in-charge, these expired foodstuffs were collected by assessment team in a 4 days program from shops and were set on fire.
Dr. Abdul Qayoom Pokhla head of Kandahar public health department said to BNA, these foodstuffs consisted biscuit, chaps, candy and chocolates. 
He added, the public health department of that province warned shopkeepers to not sell expired foodstuffs anymore.
