Kabul (BNA) Hamid Karzai President of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan had a telephone conversation yesterday morning with Imam Ali Rahman President of Tajikistan.
At this conversation both sides exchanged views on the regional situation, borders and cooperation between the two countries in different spheres.

Kabul (BNA) The plenary session of law committee of the Council of Ministers (CM) was chaired by first Vice-president Marshal Mohammad Qaseem Fahim and head of that committee. 
The meeting discussed the draft scale of salary and expenses of the President of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan and the salaries of the higher government authorities. 
Considering the difference in the salaries of the government authorities, and harmonizing of it Marshal Fahim stressed that it is important that all-sided aspects of this regulation be made so that a balance comes into being in it. 
He added that creation of balance and coordination in this respect may prepare the ground for conditions that the government employees carry their tasks with enthusiasm and there should not be so much differences among them excepting that the law has provided for them. 
Deputy Minister of justice, minister talked on the need for modernizing the laws and added that instances that needed were incorporated into the regulation. 
The CM law committee meeting after discussing the draft law and hearing the proposals of the participants decided that all the three draft regulations relating to the salaries of the higher government authorities are confirmed and the ministry of justice was assigned to include the views of the participants into them and refer them to the Council of Ministers.

Kabul (BNA) President Hamid Karzai would take decision with regard to the disqualifying the ministers for defense and interior a statement released by Presidential Palace yesterday said.
According to the statement, the President in a meeting with the National Security Council on Sunday would take decision with regard to the disqualifying of the both ministers.
The House of people with majority disqualified both the ministers for defense and interior on Saturday.

Kabul (BNA) Chairman of the Olympic Committee of Afghanistan met with the British Prime Minister in London on Friday.
At this meeting David Cameron Prime Minister of Britain welcomed the Afghan delegation led by Mohammad Zahir Aghbar which is in London for participating at the 2012 matches, the British Prime Minister called the participation of Tahmena the Afghan sports woman as very positive in the history of the Olympic Matches and praised the appearance of the Afghan athletes and their successes.
Mohammad Zahir Aghbar chairman of the Olympic Committee thanked the British government for hosting the 2012 Olympic Games and conveyed good wishes of President Karzai to David Cameron.
At this meeting Aghbar  noted that marked progress has been achieved in sports sphere in Afghanistan including the center and provinces of the country and asked for further focus of the international community especially that of the Royall British government in the growth of sports in the country.
David Cameron promised all cooperation. Tahmena Khistani displayed brilliant talent against her opponents in the London competitions; however, in the last seconds she could not reach the final line and lost the game.
