Kabul (BNA) At the general session of the House of People chaired by its speaker Abdul Rauf Ibrahimi initially the deputies discussed the security budget to be assisted by the international community in an amount of Afs. 23 billion and 391 million. 
Later, the deputies assessed the amendment to the domestic principles of the House of People, the highway taxes and article 63 of the law on struggle against narcotics and these were adopted. 
In another part of the session Sarwar Danesh and Abdul Malik Kamawai who were introduced for obtaining of vote of confidence as new member of the Supreme Court presented their working plan. 
The deputies asked questions from the candidates which were answered by them accordingly.
Latter the voting session started during which the deputies went to the voting boxes. 
As a result of voting Abdul Malik Kamwai got 127 votes of the house in his favor. 
However, Sarwar Danesh by obtaining of 68 votes in his favor and 102 against could not gain the confidence of the members of the house. 
As per the agenda, the members of the house also discussed recent insecurity in the country especially the rocket attacks of Pakistan on Kunar, insecurity in Maidan-Wardak, non implementation of the large projects in specified and planned time, non accessibility to text books by the schools’ students, and other such issues.
At the end the speaker of the house of people declared that in its extraordinary session that will take place today the ministers of information and culture and urban development and Ghazni governor should attend to explain the progress of projects for preparing Ghazni city as the Islamic countries cultural center in 2013.

Kabul (BNA) Dr. Jamahir Anwari Minister of Refugees and Expatriates told the press yesterday that the Afghan and Pakistani authorities agreed on a mechanism on the basis of which the Afghan refugees would return home voluntarily. 
Talking on the achievements of his visit to Pakistan Anwari added that in his Pakistan visit the Afghan delegation in its meetings with the Pakistani authorities agreed that in one month a new structure will be prepared that would cover honorable return home of the Afghan refugees from Pakistan. 
He added that the survey of Afghan refugees in Pakistan in our agreement and seeking the capacities for absorption of the country are covered by this new structure and in accordance with this strategy their return would take place in two phases and each of these phases would take three years. 
Anwari emphasized that the return of refugees would voluntary and the agreement on the new structure is taking place at a time that some time back Pakistani authorities had said that withdrawal of Afghan refugees will start from Pakistan from the end of the 2012.

Kabul (BNA) President Hamid Karzai received in a formal ceremony the diplomatic credentials of Glenn Davidson, the new Canadian Ambassador to Afghanistan.
The ceremony was followed by a bilateral meeting that focused on ways to further develop the bilateral relations in different fields between the two countries.
On behalf of the people of Afghanistan, the President thanked for support and assistance provided by the people and government of Canada to Afghanistan in the past years.
Ambassador Glenn Davidson stressed on his country’s continued cooperation with Afghanistan.
In attendance to the ceremony also were Dr. Zalmai Rasul, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Hamid Sediq, the Ministry’s Chief of Protocol.

Kabul (BNA) The council is composed of tribes of the country in its meeting with Khalili shared some of their difficulties and proposles and asked the leadership of the government of Afghanistan to focus attention towards addressing their problems.
This popular foundation has been established six years ago with the aim to consolidate unity among the tribes, ensuring of peace and stability and social development.
The council wants amendment of the administrative units on the basis of unit standards and says that no common approach exists in this respect in the country.
Acceleration of the reconstruction of Salama Dam, building of Herat-Cheghcharan and Cheghcharan-Maidan highway were other issues shared by this council with the second vice president.
Khalili praised the efforts of this council towards bringing about of unity, ensuring of peace and he called it an omen of hope for the people of Afghanistan.
As regards the amendment to the administrative units Khalili said that this is a priority of the government and with the approval of the basic structure law of the government by the parliament this problems will be resolved.
He added that the government is decisive in the struggle corruption and administrative reforms.
