Kabul (BNA) Afghan government seriously condemned recent reports which said two British soldiers have forced Afghan children to touch them through their clothes. 
According to reports, two British soldiers had made an Afghan boy and girl aged 10 to touch the soldiers from their clothes and then shown the video to other soldiers. 
Afghan government while condemning this act of the British soldiers considered it as child abuse and immoral act. 
The Islamic Republic of Afghanistan has been aggravated by such incidents followed recently by foreign soldiers in Afghanistan and has helped weaken the trust and cooperation of people with the soldiers. 
Afghan government is asking the British government to fully and urgently investigate the case and punish and the two soldiers.

Kabul (BNA) The amendment seekers group for Lower House of Afghan parliament in a meeting with Hamid Karzai, president of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan stressed on consolidation of national unity in the country. 
In the meeting, which was held on Thursday in Afghan presidential palace, the country’s overall circumstances were discussed. 
The amendment seekers group while enumerating their goals said the group is aimed at consolidation of the system and sound work relation between the three government powers. 
In the meeting they asked the president to introduce the acting ministers to Wolisi Jirga for vote of confidence. 
The president assured the group that the new list of Afghan remaining ministers would be delivered to the Jirga once the Jirga began its new work year. 
Hamid Karzai while pointing out related to current political issues said Afghan government has agreed on opening of an office in Qatar for the armed opponents in order that peace is soon tightened in Afghanistan because Afghan people need peace in their country very much.

Kabul (BNA) Dr. Zulmay Rasoul, Afghan minister of foreign affairs on Wednesday met with Yan Kobesh, ZUN’s new special representative to Afghanistan.  In the meeting, Afghan minister of foreign affairs while praising the role of the UN in reconstruction and maintaining security in Afghanistan hoped UN would continue its assistance to Afghanistan because a country which has spent 30 years war and problems and started reconstruction process needs further cooperation of the international community and United Nations.  He added, “The role which is played by the UN is more important in particular your appointment as the UN’s special envoy to Afghanistan is very important in transition and peace processes in Afghanistan.”  In return, the new special representative of the UN to Afghanistan spoke and said, “I’ve come here as a colleague and cooperator of Afghanistan and I’m intending to share my close consultations with Afghan ministry of foreign affairs.  Therefore, want to expand UNAMA operating plan based on new work rules in few months.  He reiterated the UN’s further assistance to Afghanistan and its people.

Kabul (BNA) Minister of Information and Culture Dr. Sayed Makhdom Raheen strongly condemned the killing of Mukaram Khan Hatif reporter of Voice of America (VoA).  Mukaram Khan Hatif who was also reporting for private TV of Dunya was killed in Mohmand region, a border region by armed individuals during evening prayers at the local mosque and the Pakistani Taliban took the responsibility for his killing.  Dr. Raheen said in his message that Mukaram Khan has been sacrificed for preparing reports on realities.  Dr. Raheen called the perpetrators of this incident as enemies of realities.
