President Karzai Meets Prince Karim Agha Khan

Kabul (BNA) Hamid Karzai, president of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan met with Prince Karim Agha Khan here in Kabul.
In the meeting held yesterday afternoon in presidential palace both sides discussed extension and acceleration of construction projects launched by Agha Khan Development Network in Afghanistan.
President Hamid Karzai considered cooperation of Agha Khan Development Network as effective and important in uplift projects in particular health, education and reconstruction of cultural heritages in Afghanistan, stressing on continuation and extension of the projects.
In return, Prince Karim Agha Khan praised Afghanistan government for providing operation facilities to Agha Khan Development Network, assuring of the network’s further cooperation in various sectors in Afghanistan.
At the end of the meeting, President Hamid Karzai invited Prince Karim Agha Khan to participate in 2014 Nawroz international festival which is expected to be held and hosted by Afghanistan in Kabul.
