Foreign Affairs Minister Meets Russian, French Ambassadors To Kabul

Kabul (BNA) Afghanistan Minister of Foreign Affairs, Zarar Ahmad Usmani met with Russian Federation ambassador to Kabul yesterday. Foreign ministry press office said BNA, in the meeting, Minister of Foreign Affairs expressed condolences and sympathy of Afghanistan and its people to Russian ambassador related to a Russian national killed in Kabul terrorist attack.
The Foreign Affairs Minister once again condemned the terrorist attack on a Lebanese restaurant in Kabul, pointing out related to recent terrorist attack in Volgograd city of Russia and said terrorism knows no border and nation.
Both sides stressed as terrorism was a common threat, counter terrorism needed also common struggles. In the meeting, the Russian ambassador added Russia was ready to assist in strengthening of ANP and ANA.
According to another report, Minister of Foreign Affairs met with French ambassador to Kabul. In the meeting, Minister of Foreign Affairs pointed out related to historic achievements of people and government of Afghanistan in the past years, praising France for cooperation and assistance towards maintaining security and reconstruction of Afghanistan.
Both sides discussed about special foreign ministerial session of the European Union held on Monday.
