As An Old Friend, France Helped Afghanistan In Different Fields, Karzai

Kabul (BNAS) France president Francois Hollande visited Kabul on Friday and held meeting with his Afghan counterpart president Hamid Karzai. 
Matters relating to bilateral relations, handing over security from NSATO-led force to Afghan security forces and French support in civilian fields came under discussion. 
Both the presidents also attended a joint press conference. 
President Karzai is sides welcoming his French counterpart and his entourage said that France is fan old friend of Afghanistan and have assisted Afghanistan on different fields. 
France, he said had built best school and hospital. President Karzai also congratulated Hollande over his election, saying his visit to farther depends the relations between the two nations. 
In his remarks at the press conference, president Hollande said French forces pullout is not the end of cooperation with Afghanistan. 
He said that France would continue to support Afghanistan in training of national police and army, in the reconstruction process, health, agriculture, cultural and education. 
Replaying a question president Karzai said: Our relations with Iran are very old and cordial and Afghanistan have been trying to have best relations with its brothers in Iran. 
We have cultural and linguistic commonality and we have clearly talked to our allied in NATO and inking strategic partnerships with US, France. 
Britain and NATO is not against any country.
Replaying another question, President Karzai said:  We have discussed the issue of equipping national army with our international friends and we are in contacts with NATO and Americans over the past several years to provide Afghan security forces with necessary weapons including radar and aircrafts in order to allow our forces to defend the country and hope they pay necessary attention.
