President Karzai Meets British Opposition Leader Miliband

Kabul (BNA) President Hamid Karzai met with the British opposition leader at the presidential palace yesterday, discussing bilateral relations, peace process, and regional and Afghanistan situation. 
Miliband congratulated president Karzai on the achievements of the Chicago conference and assured him that the British people will continue its support to the Afghan people within the joint strategic agreement will not leave alone the Afghan national before the threats by the insurgency. 
Both sides in the meeting emphasized on the consolidation of peace and praised the efforts of the Afghan side in this direction. 
President Hamid Karzai called the role of Britain in peace process and said that British can play a big role in the peace process led by the Afghans and take significant steps in this direction.
