Afghanistan, Pakistan Agree On Voluntary Return Of Afghan Refugees

Kabul (BNA) Dr. Jamahir Anwari Minister of Refugees and Expatriates told the press yesterday that the Afghan and Pakistani authorities agreed on a mechanism on the basis of which the Afghan refugees would return home voluntarily. 
Talking on the achievements of his visit to Pakistan Anwari added that in his Pakistan visit the Afghan delegation in its meetings with the Pakistani authorities agreed that in one month a new structure will be prepared that would cover honorable return home of the Afghan refugees from Pakistan. 
He added that the survey of Afghan refugees in Pakistan in our agreement and seeking the capacities for absorption of the country are covered by this new structure and in accordance with this strategy their return would take place in two phases and each of these phases would take three years. 
Anwari emphasized that the return of refugees would voluntary and the agreement on the new structure is taking place at a time that some time back Pakistani authorities had said that withdrawal of Afghan refugees will start from Pakistan from the end of the 2012.
