CE Meets Finnish Ambassador, Samangan Dignitaries

Kabul (BNA) Chief Executive Dr. Abdullah Abdullah met yesterday with Finnish ambassador to Kabul Hannu Ripatti at Sapedar palace.
In the meeting, the country’s chief executive while considering relations between the two countries as friendly praised Finland for its positive and outstanding role in Afghanistan in military, economic, education and counter terrorism in the past 15 years, hoping that relations between the two countries would further expand and tighten during mission of Hannu Ripatti to Kabul.
Ripatti by assuring of his country’s continued cooperation and presence of Finland in Afghanistan hoped that he would play more effective role in strengthening of relations between the two countries and increasing of his country’s assistance to ANP, economic and education sections during his mission in Afghanistan.
According to another report, the country’s chief executive met with elders and representatives of Samangan people in parliament.
In the meeting, security, reforms in local government and modality of implementation of development and infrastructural projects were discussed. Samangan elders asked for reforms in local government of the province.
