Strengthening Higher Education Helps Stability of Afghanistan, President Ghani

Kabul (BNA) President of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan, Mohammad Ashraf Ghani chaired the first Human Resources meeting at the presidential palace, urging the organs concerned to focus on education and bolstering vocational schools in the country, his office said in a statement the other day.
The president said that effort to strengthen education and higher educations would help the stability of Afghanistan, said the statement.
He said a proper way responding to the work market should be provided to help the vocational schools graduates find works, the statement added. According to him, there was a need for supervision of the education centers and universities and called relation between the educations fields a need.
The president hoped that the future generation would get access to prosperity through the country’s rich mines, roaring waters, historic relics, rare minerals, agriculture and construction, the statement continued.
The president directed the related organs to meet once a week to talk about the main infrastructural issues, particularly education and higher education and make decision based on the related officials viewpoints, the statement said.
