Afghanistan, India Stress On Continued Strategic Cooperation In Various Sectors

Kabul (BNA) President Mohammad Ashraf Ghani met yesterday with Indian National Security Advisor Ajit Doval and his accompanying delegation.
In the meeting held at presidential palace, President Ghani and the Indian National Security Advisor discussed regional cooperation and counter terrorism effort.
Meanwhile, both sides considered declaration of the US new strategy for Afghanistan as good opportunity for peace and stability and stressed the change should be made use so peace and stability would maintain in the region.
Both sides also stressed on continued strategic cooperation between the two countries in various sectors. At the end, the Indian National Security Advisor, representing his country’s Prime Minister invited President Ghani for an official visit to India, which was accepted with thanks by the President.
