Czech Republic To Revive Herat’s Cement Factory, Kabul Urban Transport

Kabul (BNA) Chief Executive Dr. Abdullah Abdulalh met Petr Štìpánek, newly appointed Czech Republic ambassador to Kabul here on Sunday, the CE press office said.
The Czech Ambassador said his country’s was willing to support and contribute rehabilitation of the cement factory in western Herat province and reviving urban transport service in Kabul, the statement said.
Štìpánek went on saying that his country was still providing military support to Afghanistan under NATO’s Resolute Support (RS) mission besides providing training to Afghanistan Air Forces personnel in his country. He also promised further cooperation in transit and trade and other spheres to Afghanistan.
Dr. Abdullah meanwhile said Afghanistan was in favor of having expanded bilateral cooperation with Czech Republic.
The Chief Executive added in addition to military support; increased cooperation in other fields such as trade, transit and urban transport were of vital importance for Afghanistan.
