Islamic Countries’ Unity Vital To Ensure Justice, Lasting Peace, VP Danesh

Kabul (BNA) Second Vice President Sarwar Danesh met with Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) permanent representative and ambassador in Kabul Huseyin Avni Botsal at his office on Monday, BNA reported.
Stressing on establishing coordination among the organization’s member countries to restore lasting peace, ICO ambassador added the organization is decisive to comprehensively make effort on maintaining lasting peace in Afghanistan, according to the agency.
He added OIC branch in Afghanistan is making effort to cooperate with involved sides to reach lasting peace, BNA added.  Expressing glad on OIC branch activity in Kabul, VP Danesh stressed the government of Afghanistan would take necessary measures to cooperate with OIC.  Pointing at a need to fight religious discriminations, sectarianism and terrorism, second vice president clarified that unity and solidarity are essential among Islamic countries to ensure justice and lasting peace in them.  Calling Islamic countries cooperation on lasting peace in region an Islamic obligation, VP Danesh stressed in the respect.
