President Ghani Asks Afghan Hajis To Pray For Peace

Kabul (BNA) President of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan, Mohammad Ashraf Ghani in a farewell meeting with the first Afghan Hajis convoy departing to Saudi Arabia asked them to pray for peace and stability in the country during the holy ceremony.
According to BNA report, at the outset Faiz Mohammad Usmani, minister of Hajj and Islamic Affairs briefed about the facilities provided for the Afghan Hajis this year said, in accordance to the country’s President instruction, all requirements including medical, transportation, food and residence, services have been considered for the Afghan Hajj pilgrims. The country’s President congratulated the first convoy of Afghan Hajj pilgrims for performing one of the most important pillars of the holy religion of Islam. “This should be clear for you that the government is your service provider and that the days, the government believed itself far from the people, has passed,” said the President. “You are going to Makka for Hajj pilgrims, where the Saudi Arabia and other Islamic countries’ religious scholars with all force are supporting peace in Afghanistan.” The President thanked the Saudi King for his negation of any reasons of war in Afghanistan and asked the Afghan Hajis for praying for peace in Afghanistan.
