HPC Insists on Intra-Afghan Peace Dialogue

Kabul (BNA) Chaired by Mohammad Karim Khalili, the chairman of High Peace Council (HPC) said that peace process should be led and owned by the Afghans, BNA reported. The meeting which was attended by Mohammad Akram Khapelwak, secretary of the HPC, President’s special representative for political affairs, deputies and members of HPC, expressed support to the President’s conditional ceasefire and called the truce as the best way of trust-building. Emphasizing on an intra-Afghan peace talks, Mohammad Karim Khalili thanked some countries for their efforts and cooperation to accelerate peace process between the government of Afghanistan and the Taliban movement.
