Deputy Ministry for Mysticism, Coherence of Religious Places Affairs Established

Kabul (BNA) Mohammad Ashraf Ghani President of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan, in a gathering attended by a number of the country’s religious scholars and Gnostics and Sufis, at the Salam Khana Palace said the three languages of the country have been deeply affected by theology and mysticism, a statement from the Presidential Press Office said Monday. “Theology has significant role in our culture and religion and the first civilization completed theology was the Islamic Civilization,” said the president adding the holy Islam was the religion of recognition of the world and that the entire secrets of the world are mentioned in the holy Quran and in the mystical and religious methods.
He said this was very important to recognize human as a creature and deeply understand the relation of human with human, the statement quoted. “No difference between Tariqa (creed) and Sharia (religion), but they are depended on each other and they would open the way to cognition and truth,” the President added. He said foreigners cannot describe Tariqa, and the Gnostics and Sufis are expected to define it with our own languages, according to the statement. The president asked the country’s religious scholars to define the duties of the newly established Deputy to the Islamic Mysticism and Coherence of the Religious Places Affairs and come with a list of the in-charges so that the eligible individuals to be selected.
