Practical Measures Needed to Create Employment Opportunities, Support Labors’ Rights: VP Danesh

Kabul (BNA)  Second Vice President Mohammad Sarwar Danesh during a ceremony attended by a number of cabinet and parliament members, advisors to president, deputy ministers and representatives of unions, introduced Sayed Anwar Sadat as the new acting minister of labor, social affairs, martyrs and disabled here yesterday, a statement said.
Hinting to achievements made in connection with labor’s rights, the second vice president called poverty and unemployment the main challenges, adding implementation of labor rights, addressing workers’ challenges and supporting their rights would solve the issue to a large extent, the statement from VP office said yesterday.
VP Danesh asked the newly appointed acting minister to do more for improving of the employment opportunities, supporting of the labor’s rights and ensuring balanced relation between the employer and the employee.
VP Danesh called addressing the children, disabled and teenagers’ challenges as ministry’s main duty.
He said the ministry should seriously deal with the issues of uneducated children, child labors, violence against children and misusing of children in conflicts.
Congratulating the new acting minister, VP Danesh praised Faizullah Zaki for his works at the ministry.
Meanwhile in his remakes, former minister of labor and social affairs thanked VP Danesh for his supports of the ministry’s programs, saying eye-catching achievements made at the ministry in last two and half years and could find a better place in domestic and international labor organizations.
The new acting minister thanked government’s trust and promised to do more for the ministry using the experienced cadres.
