Afghanistan's Foreign Minister Meets Czech Counterpart

Kabul (BNA) Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan Salahuddin Rabbani met with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic Mr. Tomáš Petříček.
Mentioning of the sacrifices of the Czech Republic's military forces in Afghanistan, Foreign Minister Rabbani said that Czech Republic was a good friend of Afghanistan.
He added that the training of the Afghan pilots in the Czech Republic have been of vital significance in the current situation and appreciated the help and support of the Czech Republic, particularly the presence of that country's forces within the framework of ISAF and RS in Afghanistan.
Briefing on the European countries' commitments to Afghanistan particularly that of the Czech Republic's, Mr. Petříček reiterated the implementation of those commitments.
The two sides also discussed the upcoming Presidential Elections, bilateral cooperation, the peace talks, international community's commitments to Afghanistan in the post peace process and the presence of international forces for fighting terrorism in Afghanistan.
