Kabul (BNA) The Office of the National Security Council (ONSC) on Thursday reacted to a Human Rights Watch report, saying the report has some realities but most of its parts need clarification.
The International Human Rights watch has accused CIA trained NDS Special Force of committing executions and other grave abuses without accountability.  In a new report on Thursday, HDW held the militants responsible for extrajudicial killings, attacks on medical workers, disappearances and other abuses between 2017 and mid-2019.
The allegations surfaced in HRW interviews with dozens of locals, witnesses to raids and watchdog’s.  Civilian fatalities from such raids had dramatically increased over the last two years, the report said.  But the Office of National Security Council said it was evaluating the report and will provide thorough response in near future.
“We have received the recent report of the HRW.  We have expressed our clear stance on the issues, articulated in the report and adopted measures to address them.  We have undertaking further reform initiatives to enable us to deal with these issues, the statement from ONSC said on Thursday.
The statement went on saying that some information in HRW report needed clarification.
