Canadian Defense Minister Assures Of His Government Support To Afghanistan

Kabul (BNA) The Canadian Defense Minister in his meeting with the Afghan Defense Minister reiterated on support of his government to Afghanistan.
At the meeting General Besmellah Mohammadi talked on the wording priorities of his ministry and added that implementation of the transition of security responsibilities is in the world priority of the Afghanistan’s defense ministry and it is continually tries in upgrading the working capacities of the national army.
He meanwhile expressed his sympathies to those who have lost their sweet lives in the struggle against world terrorism and ensuring of security in Afghanistan to the Canadian Defense Minister and through him to the Canadian nation.
The Canadian defense Minister said that in the past ten years they utilized all possibilities for strengthening of the Afghan national army, reconstruction and in the future too support to Afghanistan will be a part of the humanitarian tasks of the world and Canada.
At this meeting he also expressed concern the attacks on the foreign troops and added that we are working with the ISAF in this respect and would use all possibilities to prevent occurring of such incidents.
The Afghan Defense Minister asked the Canadian side for professional training of the national army of the country especially in detection, foiling of explosives deployed by the opposition forces and the Canadian Defense Minister promised cooperation in this respect.
