Khalili Expresses Satisfaction Over Progress of Development Projects In Bamyan Province

Kabul (BNA) Habiba Sorabi Governor of Bamyan, two members of parliament from Bamyan and some civil activists of the province met with Mohammad Karim Khalili second vice-president.
Others attending the meeting were two members of parliament representing Bamyan at the House of People, the deputy ministers of public works, rehabilitation and rural development, deputy head of Breshna, representatives of civil society and political parties attended the meeting as well.
The governor of Bamyan and her accompanying delegation has come to Kabul to discuss the projects promised by the vice-president and his delegation to Bamyan.
At this meeting discussions were made on the development projects in Bamyan and the deputy ministers provided information on the development projects in Bamyan.
The deputy minister of rehabilitation and rural development said that the ministry intends that till the coming year around USD10 million will be expended in 420 villages of Bamyan under the National Solidarity Program, while another USD2 million will be expended on the road building projects in the province.
The deputy minister of public works noted that the ministry will construct the road that is connecting Bamyan city with the Dara Foladi and another 2/3 km of road remained from ex plan will be included in the new program and will be asphalted.
