Martyred Khan Path Was Humn Making, Social Reform, Independence And Progress, Karzai

Kabul (BNA) In connection with the 40th martyrdom anniversary of well-known freedom-fighter of region and political and cultural personality Khan Abdul Samad Khan Achekzai, a function was held and addressing the ceremony, president. 
Hamid Karzai said that the path of martyred Khan Abdul Samad Khan was the path of struggle and efforts, making human, social reformation and asking for independence and progress. 
According to the presidential press office, in this gathering which was held yesterday by the center of regional studies of the Academy of Science at the Hall of Radio-TV, was attended by a number of scholars of either side of Duran Line and India and relatives and a number of officials of government of Afghanistan. 
Hinting on struggle of martyred Khan Abdul Samad Khan, the president said that in a time that the ruling system was under direct influence of British and were in favor of the rule of Indian government in the region, martyred Khan not only endeavored for progress, but his great ordeal was the independence of his people. 
President Karzai suggested that in a time that the human beings were jailed because of construction of school and learning asking for freedom and progress was a difficult issue, in such a situation, martyred Abdul Samad Khan was ready to lose his life in the way of his people. 
The president hoped that like Khan Abdul Samad Khan, as a result of other great personality’s efforts, Allah the Almighty to bestow Afghanistan and region peace, progress and security. 
Likewise, regarding the proclamation of the US that Taliban are not their enemies, president Karzai said that we are very happy that the US government proclaimed that Taliban are not their enemies. 
We are happy the pretexts of annoying of Afghan people, pain and killing be eliminated and be a good news of peace and security for us.
