CM Law Committee Discusses On Banking, Military Discipline Draft Laws

Kabul (BNA) Marshal Mohammad Qaseen Fahim acting president chaired a meeting of the law committee of the Council of Ministers (CM) that discussed the draft law on banking and military discipline and principles.
Addressing the meeting Marshal Fahim called laws a serious need of the society and added that Afghanistan is moving towards direction in which the country should have laws in all spheres to overcome the problems and fine out proper solution for the shortcomings.
He added that the main point in this respect is necessary coordination among the laws and the world community so that we can ensure national interests of the country and align ourselves with the international standards considering our country’s cultural and religious considerations.
The draft law was presented by the justice minister which after assessment by the participants of the meeting, confirmed the law on banking in Afghanistan and it decided that a committee led by the minister of justice, formed with the membership of deputy minister for policy of finance ministry, Mohammad Ashraf Rasouli advisor minister in judicial and legal affairs, Qurban Ali Haqjo Chairman of Chambers of Commerce and Industries, Wali Mohammad Naseh deputy head of the judicial and legal consultative board and Wahedullah Arefi legal advisor of the Central Bank so that the draft is relatively simplified and its shortcoming are eliminated and the reviewed text of the draft is presented to the CM meeting.
Meanwhile the draft military discipline law was confirmed by the meeting and referred to the Council of Ministers for further accomplishment.
