NATO’s New Civilian Envoy Calls On Khalili

Kabul (BNA) The new civilian envoy of NATO, Jicamas called on second vice president Mohammad Karim Khalili yesterday.
In the introductory meeting the NATO’s envoy besides expressing satisfaction over security transition and its completion in 2014 also stated that NATO will continue to support Afghan security forces in terms of training and providing equipment’s.
The vice president in the meeting besides greeting the official over assuming new office in Afghanistan pointed out that ensuring security after 2014 and holding presidential elections needs more support of international community.
The vice president also noted that the government of Afghanistan is committed to ensure transparent elections in 2014 and there is no place to worry.
He also went on to say that efforts for peace with the armed opposition do not mean compromising with constitution and achievements have been made over the past decade.
